Dear Virtual Aviator,
First and foremost, Welcome Aboard!
Canadian Airlines Virtual is a Virtual Airline based
on the now defunct Canadian Airlines. By utilizing flight simulator software, such
as Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and Microsoft Flight Simulator X, the purpose
of our organization is to
simulate airline operations in the most
realistic manner possible, using Microsoft’s Flight Simulator software and the VATSIM
online network.
The aim of Canadian Airlines Virtual is to provide the most realistic virtual airline
experience of any Virtual Airline in Canada. We aspire to simulate all aspects of
organizing and running a successful airline and business. Decisions and planning
in all areas of operations and management (both fleet and personnel) will be based
around the idea of financial responsibility and accountability.
Professionalism in all of our affairs will drive the success of the airline. Canadian
Airlines Virtual’s board members are all committed to the vision of the airline,
and driven to see it succeed. In all of Canadian Airlines Virtual’s endeavors, the
airline’s staff will conduct themselves in a professional manner conducent to business.
We’re not out to meet the standard, we’re out to set the standard.
Now that all the serious stuff is over with, let us clarify that even though our
virtual airline seems very real, one of our priorities is fun as well! Flight Simulator
is a hobby, and no one likes to have a hobby that seems like work. We may come across
as a serious bunch, but we like having fun too. We sincerely hope that you will
